How to prepare your home for professional window cleaning

A few minutes of prep makes the visit faster and the result better.

The short answer

For exterior-only window cleaning, clear anything directly under the windows — potted plants, hoses, patio furniture, garden ornaments — and make sure gates are unlocked and pets are inside. For interior cleaning, also remove fragile items from sills, open a path to each window, and let the team know about any fixed furniture or delicate blinds. You don't need to move heavy furniture or take down blinds yourself.

Questions

How to prepare your home for professional window cleaning — quick questions.

Do you move furniture?

Light furniture, yes — and it goes back exactly where it was. Tell us about anything heavy or fixed and we'll plan around it.

Should I be home?

For interior work, someone needs to let the team in. For exterior-only work you don't need to be there as long as there's access to the outside of the home and an outdoor tap.

Cleaner spaces. Brighter days.

Ready for a real number?

Send a rough window count and a few details. We'll come back with a property-specific range.
